64th Venice International Film Festival

I always look forward fall and winter. Not only because in my opinion fashion is the most exciting in this period (layering, after all, is extremely sophisticated and I adore matching clothes) but because of awards season.
The
64th Venice International Film Festival starts today (and it lasts until September 8) and at first glimpse, it will be overwhelming. The list of films includes many that are created by my idols and/or have my favourites on the cast list.
First, there is Woody Allen's out of competition Cassandra's Dream. His latest creations like Scoop or Hollywood Ending are amongst my fave movies of all time (just like his older ones. His only film I can say I do not like is Celebrity...) so I hope and guess this one will be a wonderful one as well.
And then, the in competition movies...
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford starring Brad Pitt, Michael Clayton with George Clooney, Brian De Palma's Redacted, Kenneth Branagh's Sleuth, Il dolce e l'amaro by Andrea Porporati, Ang Lee's Se, jie (Lust, Caution) and Todd Haynes's I'm not there, starring different actors (amongst them Cate Blanchett) as Bob Dylan... And I haven't even mentioned all.
But the one I'm looking forward the most is Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited starring Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman and Adrien Brody, but Bill Murray, Anjelica Huston and Natalie Portman also show up... I love the movie's mood, the picturesque scenes, the lines, everything. Can't wait 'til it hits cinemas in November...

Awwwe, I think Adrien Brody is great. He's just so dorky and completely lovable.
